Inspiration
I draw inspiration from the natural world around me, particularly in the interplay of shapes and colours found in organic forms. Photography serves as a visual record for me, but not as a reference for replication. Instead, I capture moments where the combination of shapes, colours, light, and shadow reveal something new, something that sparks my imagination.
Rather than recreating what I see, I let certain forms and colours linger in my mind, using them as a starting point for my work. My creative process is deeply influenced by the materials I use, particularly hides, which often possess unique textures and natural patterns. These elements guide my designs, allowing each piece to emerge organically from the material itself.
